As a reading fanatic, I have always been moved by quotes. Since I can remember I have always kept a post-it as a bookmark so that I could write down a quote if it jumped out at me as I was reading. Shortly after I got married, upon seeing my giant pile of post-it notes... in a bag, my husband sagely suggested I write them all in a notebook. (BRILLIANT!) So, I started a notebook of all of my favorite quotes. This notebook can often be found on my person especially if I am at the library or the movies. Yes, I have many, many movie quotes as well! It has become an inside joke between my husband and I when watching a movie. He will know when I have heard a quote that needs to be recorded (he says my eyes light up) and he will pause the movie while I fetch my notebook, or he will help me remember it if we are without the option to pause (at the theater).
Anyway, when I started studying Photography and learned the ins and outs of Photoshop and a bit of Illustrator, I started creating my own 8x10 artistic quote pages. These are framed all over my house. So now I am always surrounded by my favorite quotes! Long gone are the days of post-it notes...
Here are a few of my favorites...
You are more than welcome to copy, paste and frame any of these for yourself.
Enjoy!
